Nonclassical-light generation in a photonic-band-gap nonlinear planar waveguide

  • Original language description

Optical parametric process occurring in a photonic-band-gap planar waveguide is studied from the point of view of nonclassical-light generation. Nonlinearly interacting optical fields are described by the generalized superposition of coherent signals andnoise using the method of quantum linear corrections to a classical strong "mean-field" solution.
