Formal concept analysis (FCA) is an algebraic method of data miningwhich aims at extracting a hierarchical structure (so-called conceptlattice) of clusters (so-called formal concepts) from object-attributedata tables. One of the hottest problems in application of FCA is alarge number of clusters extracted from data. We try to cope withthis problem by reducing the amount of input data by the well-knownmethod called clarification, extended to fuzzy setting. This reductionhas the effect of clustering of similar formal concepts and therebymakes the concept lattice smaller.

Czech description

Formální konceptuální analýza (FCA) je algebraická metoda dolování dat (data mining), která má za cíl extrahovat hierarchickou strukturu (tzv. konceptuální svaz) shluků (tzv. formálních konceptů) z objekt-atributových tabulek dat. Jeden z nejožehavějšíchproblémů v aplikacích FCA je velký počet shluků extrahovaných z dat. Pokoušíme se tento problém řešit redukováním množství vstupních dat pomocí dobře známé metody zvané klarifikace, rozšířené do fuzzy prostředí. Tato redukce má efekt shlukování podobných formálních konceptů a zmenšuje tedy konceptuální svaz.
