Post-magmatic hydrothermal alteration of igneous rocks of teschenite association (Silesian Unit, Outer Western Carpathians): evidence from associated fracture and amygdule mineralization
Original language description
Two stages of hydrothermal alteration have been recognized within rocks of teschenite association. The first stage was related to high-salinity (47-57 wt. % salts) fluids remaining after crystallization of teschenite magma at temperatures of 390-510 °C and low pressures (<1 kbar). The second stage of alteration was caused by low-temperature (50-250 °C) low-salinity (0.2-3.7 wt. % NaCl equiv.), near-zero-to-high 18O values (-1 to +17 ? SMOW) fluids originating by dewatering of associated Lower Cretaceoussediments.
