The cleavage of heterocyclic compounds IV. Study of the reactivity of the [1]benzothieno[2,3-e][1,2,4]triazine system towards nucleophilic reagents

  • Original language description

A series of 5-substituted 1,2,4-triazines were prepared by nucleophilic cleavage of the thiophene ring of [1]benzothieno[2,3-e][1,2,4]triazine with some nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur and carbon containing nucleophilic agents. The thiophene ring of compound was transformed by oxidative cleavage to the corresponding sulfonic acid
