Original language description
Present society requires high-quality educated experts in almost all branches. For it, the abilities to perceive spatial phenomena correctly, to dispose accurate spatial imagination and to decide in space properly are relevant aspects in their competences (so-called spatial literacy). Beside congenital individual preconditions geography is the only school discipline educating spatial literacy. Information and communication technologies immersed into all specialisations and most everyday activities significantly appeal on demand to educate geographers with high geoinformatic literacy. The geoinformatic literacy is beamed students through geography teachers which have to have these abilities at appropriate level. Concerning professional education of practical geographers (both geography teachers and geography-experts) there is necessary to educate geography with all geoinformatic aspects.
