The reaction of vanadocene dichloride with sodium arsenate gives Cp2V(O2AsO2H). This compound was identified on the basis of the super-hyperfine coupling observed in the solution EPR spectrum. The effect of substitution was studied on the ring-substituted and ansa-bridged compounds.
