Recent Synthetic Approaches to 1H- and 2H-Indazoles. A Review
Original language description
During last ten years great interest has been devoted to synthesis of compounds sharing an indazole core. Most of the efforts were focused on 1H-indazoles whereas syntheses of 2H-indazoles were studied less intensively. Since a plethora of compounds comprising the indazole core were shown to have significant biological activity, substantial work was also devoted to find convenient and inexpensive synthetic routes compatible with diverse substitution patterns and employing easily accessible building blocks. This review article was devised with the practical point of view in mind.
