The importance of the polyphasic approach in a comparative study of Nodularia (Nostocales, Cyanobacteria)
Original language description
This paper focuses on the morphology, taxonomy and ekology of the widespread cyanobacteria of the genus Nodularia. The results of both the molecular and morphological study clearly separated N. moravica and N. sphaerocarpa, as freshwater species prefering a low salinity and the N. harveyana strain originating from a marine environment prefering a high salinity.
