Virtual instrumentation technique used in the nuclear digital signal processing system design: Energy and time measurment tests
Original language description
In this report, computer-based digital signal processing system with a 200 MSs-1 sampling digitizer is presented. Virtual instrumentation technique is used to easily develop a system which provides spectroscopy measurements such as amplitude and time signal analysis, with the time-of-flight facility. Several test measurements were performed to determine the characteristics of a system. The presented system may find its application in the coincidence measurement since the system is usable for different types of detectors and sensitive to decay life times from tens of nanoseconds to seconds.
