Golden section quasigroups introduced by V.Volenec form a particular variety of idempotent medial quasigroups. They are related to geometric configurations. Their defining identities might be useful in cryptography or coding theory. We investigate existence of finite examples; with the computer aid, we found examples over the group Zp up to prime order 991.
