Original language description
Examination of microstructure and magnetic properties of amorphous (Fe Co ) Mo Cu B alloys (x=1, 2 and 3 ) are performed by combination of analytical techniques. Chemical composition of the investigated samples was tested by laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). Mössbauer spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry investigation have proved full amorphicity of the as-quenched alloys. Good soft magnetic properties as well as low core losses were found for the sample containing 39.5 at.% Co (x=1). Moreover, results obtained fromsimulation of choke coresmade from(Fe Co ) Mo Cu B and FINEMET-type alloys are compared.
