Two-point boundary value problems for the generalized Bagley-Torvik fractional differential equation

  • Original language description

The paper investigates a generalized Bagley-Torvik fractional differential equation together with the Sturm-Liouville boundary conditions. Existence and uniqueness results are stated and proved. The existence of positive solutions to the problem and properties of their derivatives are give. The proofs are based on a nonlinear Leray-Schauder alternative.
