Model of Pierre Auger Observatory fluorescence detector in ZEMAX environment
Original language description
The paper deals with the fluorescence telescopes used in Pierre Auger Observatory in Argentina as the detectors of fluorescence light resulting from the interaction of extra high energy cosmic particles with the Earth's atmosphere. The idea of Pierre Auger Observatory and the role of fluorescence telescopes in the Observatory are presented together with the brief description of telescope design. Our model of telescope in ZEMAX environment and some results of simulation are described, also the integrityof model and its possible future development are discussed.
