Linking geochemical processes in mud volcanoes with arsenic mobilization driven by organic matter
Original language description
The study deals with mud fluids and sediments collected from mud volcanoes in southwestern Taiwan. Based on fluid chemistry, connate water is the probable source. Organic matter plays a significant role in mobilization of arsenic. Principal functional groups of organic matter were identified and characterized.
