Effect of intrinsic parameters on evaluation of critical loads in nanoscratch test
Original language description
Implementation of thin films has brought specific demannds on measurement techniques for assessment of their mechanical properties. In the early 80's of 20th century scratch test came to use as a primary method for measurement of coatings-substrate adhesion. Test consists of pulling the diamond indenter over the sample surface by precisely defined force, while the displacement is continuously measured.
