A new genus of ototretine firefly endemic to Indian subcontinent (Coleoptera: Lampyridae)
Original language description
A new genus and four new species of Indian endemic beetles belonging to the subfamily Ototretinae (Lampyridae) are described: Flabellopalpodes gen. n., F. flavus sp. n., F. brancuccii sp. n., F. atricornis sp. n., and F. tamilnaduensis sp. n. One species formerly placed in Drilidae, Selasia maindroni Bourgeois, 1903, is transferred to the genus Flabellopalpodes, and consequently F. maindroni (Bourgeois, 1903) is proposed. A key to species and illustrations of diagnostic characters are given.
