International Conference Plant Biotechnology: Green for Good V, held from 10 to 13 June in Olomouc, which included lectures by top scientists on new knowledge in the field of plant biotechnology, was also an opportunity for young scientists to meet the capacities of the field and present the results of their work. The program was divided into nine sections, in which experts dealt with crop biotechnology, the relationship between plants and micro-organisms, plant genetics and genomics, molecular farming and genetic engineering, options for improving food and feed quality, or plant-environment relations.
