Recent advances in polymer supported palladium complexes as (nano) catalysts for Sonogashira coupling reaction
Original language description
Palladium (Pd) complexes supported on the polymers have been widely used in various organic syntheses endeavors because of their thermal stability, high catalytic activities and recyclability. This article provides contemporary advancements in the deployment of polymer-supported Pd complexes (PSP complexes) in Sonogashira coupling reactions (SCR) of halobenzenes with alkynes. Although most of the reports on SCR are focused on aryl iodides, newer methodologies with supported Pd enable the activation of other aryl halides, especially chlorides, which are discussed in this review.
