The objective of the research is to investigate and improve airborne thermal remote sensing in urban climate research. The book is consisting of three parts representing data acquisition, data processing and data analysis. The author explores possibilities of using the TURN method, Local Climate Zones, Open Street Map and other land-cover/land-use data for the assessment of urban climate.
