Original language name
Utricularia spp. - a new host of powdery mildew.
Original language description
Symptoms of powdery mildew (PM) infection were observed on a group of 13 plant species of Utricularia cultivated in a glasshouse (Palacký University, Olomouc). Based on microscopic examination of anamorphs it is suggested that this PM species belongs tothe genus Sphaerotheca and could be the same one as powdery mildew on cucumbers cultivated in the same glasshouse. It is the first report about PM on the genus Utricularia in Europe.
