Quasidistributions for noncommuting cosene and sine operators.

  • Original language description

We explore how far the analogy between the photon annihilation and creation operatprs amd the Susskind-Glogower exponential phase operators reaches. We study the quasidistributions motivated by this analogy and find the dichotomy that either the cosine and sine of phase obey the usual trigonometric relation or their quasidistribution may serve for the reconstruction of physical state.
