Progress and Implementation of Tactile Sign Language in Czech Republic
Original language description
The contribution deals with the information about progress and implementation of tactile sign language and tactile communication systems into the practical life of people with deafblindness in the Czech Republic. In the Czech Republic this area has beensolved for the last 5 years. In cooperation with organisations of deafblind there have been organised learning camps for clients and their relatives, there as well have been produced multimedia learning materials and published scholarly publications. Deafblindness is also the part of certificate study program for interpreters of Czech sign language and the claim of deafblind people on the tactile communication was implemented into the law about sign language.
