Original language description
Quality of life has become a very topical scientific phenomenon over the recent two decades and it is reflected in many fields of research. In the context of special pedagogy a very highlighted issue is the assessment of the quality of life of specific client groups in order to establish an adequate level of the provided support and to optimise the complex intervention. This is why there was designed a concept focusing on the research of the quality of life of children with retinopathy of prematurity, which is one of the main causes of blindness in advanced and medium developed countries of the world. This study focuses on the description of the research concept. The who le issue is studied in the context of the theoretical background and practical applications.
