This text has tried to describe and classify some basic terms of modern pedagogy such as education, educating and EDUKACE. We have analyzed the basic features of the theory of education according to its contentual focus. The second part of this chapter has dealt with the analysis and description of educational conceptions, models and theories on Czech and Slovak republic. We felt it vital to explain some of the criteria and contexts of models. Not only for the visible differences in the conception focusbut for obvious differences in content and methodics of the focus of particular models.
