Didactic Methods and their Application in Teaching Vocational Subjects in Secondary Nursing Schools
Original language description
The present paper analyses the didactic methods in teaching vocational subjects in secondary nursing schools. Specifically, we focused on the subject of Clinical propaedeutics. Through a questionnaire survey, we addressed a total of 172 students of gradeone and two. The respondents indicated very frequent (22.7%) and frequent (54.6%) application of traditional teaching methods (lecture, presentation). However, only 12% of students prefer this type of traditional teaching - teacher presentation with taking down notes. The application of activating teaching methods is preferred by approximately a half of the surveyed students. Three quarters of the students indicate that lessons containing activating methods are more interesting.
