Original language description
The specialized text by Petra Filipová analyse the joint exhibition project of Tate Liverpool, Centre Pompidou-Metz and Museum für moderne Kunst Frankurt am Main. The basic idea of the exhibiton comes from several inspirational sources: from the concept of an imaginary museum, that is museum of reproduction of art works, and from Benjamin's thought on reproduction of the art work. The exhibition "Das imaginäre Museum" comes much further in its analyses of the art artefact.
