Conveying Worlds through Creative Nonfiction
Original language description
The online workshop was conducted by prof. Rebekah Bloyd (California College of the Arts, USA). The topic was the theory and practice of writing creative nonfiction, a major creative writing genre that has been widely taught and studies in the recent decades. Introduction to the genre was followed by critical examination of several texts in this genre by established writers. Next, workshop participants were assigned two in-class writing assignments. Finally, there was a discussion of the writing experience and a question-and-answer session at the end of the workshop.
