Therapeutic sandbox as an innovative approach in speech therapy for preschool and younger school children.
Original language description
The paper presents the results of verifying the possibility of working with the therapeutic sandbox Sandtray in the context of Solution-Focused Therapy. Both of these approaches are connected by the possibility of working with children of preschool and younger school age in the field of speech therapy, special education and counselling. The article presents the results of the pre-research, in which the possible interconnection of therapeutic and speech therapy-therapeutic goals and the advantages of this approach were found, e.g. in a possible comparison with the Scénotest method. The interconnection of this technique is unique in the conditions of the Czech Republic and thus brings new knowledge in this area.
