The primary focus of this article is a case study of a child diagnosed with an orofacial cleft defect. The primary objective of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of the speech and language therapy intervention implemented over a period of 14 months. In the initial entry, the basic and essential anamnestic data of the examined child are summarised. A significant domain pertains to the initial and concluding diagnosis of communication capability. The central section is dedicated to a comprehensive exposition of the direct speech and language therapy intervention, including diagnostic tools used, assessments and assistive devices.
