Longitudinal observation of physical and motor preconditions in tenis
Original language description
The paper deals with the results of a three-year longitudinal observation of the aid of a standard testing battery. On the basis of studies conducted on two young Czech women tennis players, an assessment of their developmental possibilities is presentedwith the help of time series and developmental trends analysis. Results are presented for comparison in numeric and graphic forms, indicating possible utilisation of current diagnostic techniques in the regulation and objective sports training of young tennis players focused on preconditions pertaining to physical and motor performance. The results inferred a certain degree of analogy in the character of developmental trends for some variables concurrent to the development of sporting performance in theobserved players.
