The rule of 15% in Special Olympics (Swimming) - using the EMN (Electrophoretic Mobility of Nuclei) method
Original language description
From the results we cannot see clearly any dependence between EMN index and rule of 15 %. This can be due to very small number of test subjects and a big age difference. Also we did not count with all inside and outside conditions on with is EMN index dependent. The biggest difference betšeen time in qualification and final we found by Down syndrome swimmer on 50 m. The interesting cause was 100 m swimmer number 11. We can call him well-trained athlete and his values of EMN index and time percentage prove it. For the future this study should be done with bigger and age homogenous group.
