The reliability and validity of jump testing by the sledge system
Original language description
The presented study is focused on testing and evaluating the explosive muscle strength abilities of the lower extremities. This article introduces the Sledge system - a diagnostic system capable of evaluating jumps under various conditions. An importantstep in the construction of such a system is to develop a correct computing algorithm and to determine the reliability and validity of jump testing. Study confirmed that the sledge method is reliable and valid for examination of the explosive muscle strength abilities of the lower extremities. The most reliable characteristics are found in the acceleration phase of the sledge jump.
