What are the next steps for hippotherapy?
Original language description
Hippotherapy is a medical method; nearly every one has heard something about it. It could be possible to stop considering hippotherapy only positively, as an unequivocally efficient method, and to attempt to prove its effects as a therapy of disturbancesof the human kinetic apparatus. Hippotherapy uses the natural step mechanism of the horse, for the reeducation of human raw kinetics. A stepping cycle is largely conditioned by the body construction of a horse. It is possible to reduce this individuality to some degree by training. The use of biomechanics methods in hippotherapy makes it possible to obtain data, which serve for the quantification of the watched movement parameters of a human, horse and their mutual interaction. We supposed, and presentresults predicate, that we have chosen a good way and that quantitative research will be a necessary supplement to information for specialists from different professions such as doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, hippologists, etc
