In the sumbitted paper, we aim to discuss the initiation function of the special shcool within the intentions of quality nad healthy way of life of pupils with mental handicaps and pupils with auditory handicaps. The results of the questionnaire imply certain dysbalance between the expected function of the special schools and the educative rality. The fact found manifest the special schools´ long-term emphasis of the educaion aspect (i.e. abilities and knowledge) at the expense of rather embarrassing effects in the area of formative.

Uvedení funkcí speciálních škol v oblasti zdravého životního stylu života žáků
Czech description
V předloženém příspěvku jsme anketou zjišťovali iniciační funkci speciální školy v intencích kvalitního a zdravého způsobu života žáků se sluchovým postižením. Výsledky ankety naznačují určitou dysbalanci mezi očekávanou funkcí speciálních škol a edukační realitou. Zjištěné skutečnosti manifestují dlouhodobě přetrvávající důraz speciálních škol na vzdělávací stránku (tj. oblast dovedností a vědomostí) na úkor poněkud rozpačitých efektů v oblasti výchovného působení.
