Original language description
Aim: To describe potential gender differences influencing motivation and adherence to PA in elderly persons. To show some results from NQLS questionnaire gathered by Research centre of Fakulty of Physical Culture at Palacký University Olomouc, CZech Republic. Methods: General overview on gender differences influencing PA participation. Use of NQLS. Preliminary results: 1. Overviews; 2. NQLS results: Decrease of PA with age, gender influence in size of community variables. Conclusions: Findings of decrease of PA with age (smoking and overweight) give strong suggestion to create promotion programmes, starting from national level. Results from NQLS show also other factors influencing acctive life style and some of them differ by gender differences. Acknowledgement: EU project Thenapa II (ref.
