The chapter of the book is focused on the rights of persons with intellectual disability to participate in physical activities and sports and benefits of the participation. Principles of physical activity programs regarding to age recommended by WHO guidline are described and strategies for promoting physical activities, exercise and sport, too. Special Olympic program as forefront of developing physical activity programs are found as positive programs for health, fitness and social inclusion.
