A number of authors have highlighted the importance of sports tourism. With the growing interest in healthy lifestyles and a focus on creating new porducts in the field of sport tourism, running is now becoming a phenomenon that reverberates not only interms of leisure -time activities, but also in tourism. The aim of this chapter is to describe the runnings tours and running trails in the Czech Republic as a new product of sporting tourism. The aim of this chapter is to analyse of this service in thecontext of other tourism products and to examine the expectations and needs of tourists they have in relation to this special product. The chapter also presents the relevant results of quantitative research conducted in the form of online survey among the sample of tourists - runners about their preferences, favorite destinations, lenght of trail or daily period to undertake this kind of city tour.
