The Implementation of Nested Quotation Marks

In a lot of languages, quotation marks are set using characters. In some styles, e.g., texttt{czech.sty}, texttt{slovak.sty}, a special macro command is used. However, none of these methods allows for correct typesetting of nested quotation marks. Thiscontribution describes a solution to this problem in LaTeX. A set of macros in a special TeX-style has been composed and settings for various languages have been created. The presented solution is user-friendly and general. In addition, the standard settings can be configured by user.

V řadě jazyků lze uvozovky vysázet přímo pomocí běžných znaků. V některých stylech, např. textt{czech.sty}, texttt{slovak.sty}, jsou pro tyto účely definovány speciální příkazy. Žádný z těchto způsobů však neumožňuje sazbu vnořených uvozovek. Tento článek popisuje řešení uvedeného problémy v systému LaTeX. Byla sestavena sada maker a byla připravena nastavení pro různé evropské jazyky. Předložené řešení v podobě samostatného stylového souboru je obecné, uživatelsky jednoduché a umožňuje také používatvlastní uživatelská nastavení.
