The aims of this paper are to identify problems surrounding the contingent valuation of "landscape amenity" and present selected results from a recent stated preference study on changes in landscape of Protected Landscape Area (PLA) White Carpathians (CHKO Bílé Karpaty). It is documented, that CV provides useful information also about genuine concern and overall efficiency of compensation programmes.

Příspěvek je zaměřen na identifikaci problémů souvisejících s aplikací kontingentního hodnocení "krajinotvorných přínosů" zemědělství. Jsou prezentovány výsledky studie netržního hodnocení změn krajiny v CHKO Bílé Karpaty. Je dokumentováno, že metoda kontingentního hodnocení může poskytovat využitelné informace o obecném zájmu a celkové efektivnosti kompenzačních programů.
