In the winter semester of the academic year 2004/2005 the 275 students of 3rd and 5th year of full-time study in the managerial-economics section of the Business and Economics faculty solved the case "How and Where to Produce". This paper describes the results of students from the different years of study. The purpose of the paper is to analyze differences in the approach of students from different years of study to the case solution, to compare their approaches and to suggest what is necessary to target in the teaching of the case. The conclusions of this paper provide recommendations for teachers towards improving the quality of the educational process not only in the seminars in the subject Operations Management but also in other subjects at FBE MUAF in Brno. The paper is a part of solution of the research plan of the FBE MUAF in Brno, No. GA MSM 6215648904.

V zimním semestru akademického roku 2004/2005 řešilo 275 studentu ze 3.a 5. ročníku manažersko-ekonomického oboru na PEF MZLU v Brně případovou studii "Kde a jak vyrábět". Příspěvek popisuje výsledky řešení studentů z různých ročníků studia. Cílem příspěvku je analyzovat rozdíly v přístupu studentů z různých ročníků studia k řešení případové studie, srovnat jejich přístupy a navrhnout, na co je třeba se zaměřit při výuce a práci s případovou studií. Příspěvek je součástí řešení výzkumného záměru PEF MZLU v Brně č. GA MSM 6215648904.
