The paper is focused on the basic traits and the economic principle of contemporary food economy development processes in term of the efficient involvement of agricultural enterprises. It explains the reason why agribusiness system influences the structure, interrelationships and the other factors of the economic environment for agriculture and why those processes should look at choosing the best use of the new concept of the Common agricultural policy EU.

Příspěvek se zabývá hlavními znaky a ekonomickou podstatou současných procesů rozvoje potravinového hospodářství z hlediska úspěšného zapojení zemědělských podniků. Vysvětluje proč agrobyznys ovlivňuje výrobní strukturu v zemědělství, vzájemné vztahy i další faktory podnikatelského prostředí a proč je nezbytné znát a respektovat tyto procesy jako předpoklad úspěšnosti realizace nové koncepce společné zemědělské politiky v rámci Evropské unie.
