The paper is focused on the comparison of organic food market in the Czech Republic and in other selected European countries. The development of organic market is evaluated by the share of organic products on total food consumption in the Czech Republicas well as in Austria, Italy, Denmark, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Great Britain, Poland and Finland. The comparison is carried out on following organic products: cereals, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, milk and pork. The analysis is focused on the development of market with organic products, structure of supply, frequent distribution channels and methods of promotion.

Cílem příspěvku je komparace současného stavu odbytu vybraných bioproduktů v České republice a ve vybraných evropských státech, a to v Rakousku, Itálii, Dánsku, Německu, Francii, Švýcarsku, Finsku, Švédsku, Španělsku, Holandsku a Velké Británii. Pozornost je zaměřena na podíl spotřeby bioproduktů na celkové spotřebě potravin v uvedených státech, na vývoj trhu s bioprodukty, na strukturu nabídky a na nejčastější distribuční cesty.
