Some economical aspects of cattle raising in conditions of organic farming in the Czech Republic

Original language description

The paper is focused on the cattle raising efficiency in the conditions of organic farming in the Czech Republic in year 2004. Economical evaluation of the cattle raising in organic systems of farming is compared with enterprises farming in conventionalsystems and it includes two selected categories: beef cows and dairy cattle. In relationship to the results of analysis the drafts of measures are formed, which should contribute to support of enterprises operating in organic systems of farming thereby to better satisfaction of increasing demand for bio-food. The paper is partial output of Research plan of FBE MUAF Brno, MSM 6215648904 "Czech economy in the process of integration and globalization, and the development of agrarian sector and the servicesector in the new conditions of integrated marked" as a part of thematic direction 05 "Social-economic context of sustainable development of multifunctional agriculture, and actions of agrarian and regional policy".
