The Influence of Agribusiness Market Structure on the Shaping of Prices along the Commodity Chain

Original language description

The objective of the paper is to examine the expansion of the agribusiness commodity chains impact on the Czech food economy development and their exposure to the food prices generation in particular. By generalising the typical features in the running integration processes within this economy segment, essential tendencies of changes in the present-day business environment resulting from differential market structure along the agri-food chains are evaluated. The contribution deals with the theoretical cognition of the crucial factors and relations of price formation faced on individual stages within the production verticals of commodities in the globalisation of the food economy. The probability of buyers' market force and the market stabilization policy conflict are discussed on results of research of the main agribusiness prices level development basis in the Czech Republic.

Vliv tržní struktury agrobyznysu na tvorbu cen v komoditním řetězci

Czech description

Cílem příspěvku je vyhodnotit vliv rozšiřování komoditních řetězců agrobyznysu na rozvoj českého potravinového hospodářství z hlediska působení na tvorbu cen potravin. Na základě zobecnění typických projevů probíhajících integračních procesů v tomto sektoru jsou hodnoceny základní tendence změn podnikatelského prostředí vyplývající z utváření rozdílné tržní struktury v rámci potravinových vertikál. Příspěvek se zabývá teoretickými východisky vymezení a vlivu klíčových faktorů a vztahů na formování cen na jednotlivých úrovních komoditních vertikál v globalizovaném prostředí agrobyznysu. Prezentuje výsledky výzkumu v podmínkách agrárního sektoru ČR a na základě analýzy vývoje rozhodujících cenových hladin komoditních vertikál upozorňuje na konflikt působení tržní síly a stabilizační politiky v rozhodujících komoditních vertikálách
