The new system of public registers in the Czech Republic
Original language description
This paper discusses the basic principles of data-sharing as defined in the Basic Registry Act, No. 111/2009 Coll. Basic registers of public administration should become a new source of data for public authorities and for private entities. Authors describe the architecture of the basic registers' system and discuss some possible technical solutions for each of the four basic registries (Registry of Inhabitants, Registry of Persons, Registry of Territorial Identification, Registry of Rights and Obligations). Special interest is put on the management of access permissions and the rules for providing the data to various clients.
