Original language description
In this article I focused on the intangible assets and their influence on the company value. I dealt with the types of intangible assets, both visible and invisible and tried to summarize the aspects of value creation. The aim of this article is to provide detailed academic discussion of the potential of intangibles and their effects on the company value. Within the article elaboration, I used mainly the logical-systematic method together with the analysis of the specialized literature and electronic databases resources and subsequent synthesis I used for deduction of the results. Therefore, the primary objective was the synthesis of the individual viewpoints of the experts on the issue of intangible assets and its influence on the company value. All findings are supported with the literature review e.g. Boddy (2008), Hill and Jones (2009), Marinič (2008), and Porter (2004). Up-to-date information is based on latest articles from economic, financial and management journals.
