The paper focuses on contributions of fundamental analysis within the framework of financial markets analysis. First of all the principle and three parts of fundamental analysis are described. Based on newly founded knowledge the contributions of fundamental analysis are presented. There are contributions to stock valuation and to explaining of unexpected market behaviour. Stock valuation leads to estimating the intrinsic values. Despite presented contributions the possible limitations of fundamental analysis are mentioned, because of objective look, too.
