Present paper focuses on the analysis of graduate programmes provided for graduates from universities of economics and management in the Czech Republic and Austria to connect talented graduates with career. The aim of research was to compare trainee programmes organised by marketing agencies, IT, pharmaceutical and construction companies as their tool to highlight an approach to social responsibility. The compilation of recommendations on the improvement of business ethics graduate programmes was basedon the research results. Primary data source of the research is the outcome of a set of interviews made with 12 Czech and 10 Austrian companies operating in four different sectors (marketing agencies, IT, pharmaceutical and construction companies), via face-to-face meetings and online calls.
