Enterprise Content Management system and Search Strategy
Original language description
In recent years, organizations focus on management of unstructured content. An Enterprise Content Management system (ECM) allows the organization to capture, store, manage, integrate and deliver all forms of content. ECM, for example, includes document management, record management, business process management, collaboration or search components. Search is probably one of the most important aspects of any ECM implementation. Search ECM engine can deliver relevant, secure, accurate information across the company and can help employees in the work to increase performance and improve decision-making process. The present paper provides an overview of search functionalities in ECM systems and proposes ECM search implementation framework. The framework developer in this article includes search strategy and can assist a decision maker to better understand and evaluate factors of implementation.
