The paper reviews Pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin and Ukraine's accession to the Regional convention on Pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin. Ukraine's membership in the regional convention on Pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin is critical for fostering further progress in Ukraine's trade relations with EU countries, non-EU European and Mediterranean countries. The paper analyzes opportunities and constraints of Ukraine's accession to the regional convention on Pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin in the context of currently negotiated and existing Ukraine's free trade agreements.
